Pegatron and Freescale collaborate to manufacture low cost netbooks and nettops. Pegatron And Freescale netbooks runs on Linux, features an 8.9 inch display, a 8 hour battery and 8 GB of storage. Pegatron And Freescale nettops packs 1GHz ARM i.MX515 processor. The netbooks will cost around $199 and will be available this June 2009.
ViewSonic VieBook / VPC100 ViePC / LinkPC
ViewSonic recently launched ViewSonic VieBook that features a 10.2 inch netbook for the price of of $429. While the ViewSonic VPC100 ViePC measures 35mm thin, with an 18.5 inch display, 16:9 LCD screen and priced at $549. ViewSonic LinkPC is lined up as a Nettop that cost around $399. All three will be available before March 2009.
